Ink Review: Vintage Copper by Diamine

Vintage Copper by Diamine. This is from the red inkvent (2021).

The flow can block up a bit as it's got particles in it, but it's not a big deal.

This ink. Is gorgeous. This is one I didn't even just buy a sample of, because I knew I would love it. It's deep and shades and the sheen is perfect. 9 out of 10.

Ink Review: Clearwater Rain by Robert Oster

Clearwater Rain from Robert Oster.

It flows fine, but doesn't shade much.

Honestly? I was disappointed. "Clearwater Rain" sounds much more beautiful than this color actually is. It's fine, but there are way better blues out there.  5 out of 10.

Ink Review: Fabulous Las Vegas by Colorverse (Nevada from USA series)

Fabulous Las Vegas, the Nevada color from Colorverse's USA Special Ink Collection.

It's not great with the flowing. Partially probably because it's so light that if it's not flowing a lot you don't get enough color to see it well. Also the sparkles.

This color thrills me because it's SO PERFECT. It's the definition of fabulous! So glamorous and sparkly, just like Las Vegas! (I assume. I've never been there.)

It's also totally impractical, also like Las Vegas. It's really hard to see.

BUT WHO CARES IT'S FABULOUS

Ink Review: Jane Austen by De Atramentis

Jane Austen, by De Atramentis.

This is a really nice ink - flows well, good color. It's very nice to write with.

Ok, so I am a huge Jane Austen nerd. I'm on facebook communities. I own multiple copies of all the books and I read them over and over until they fall apart and then I buy new ones. Jane Austen is srs business for me.

Does this color do her justice? ...I mean... it's a fine color, the ink is nice. But the color... just isn't Jane Austen in my mind. It's not a bad color, and I see how they got there, but it isn't her. My aunt and uncle are also Austen nerds and they agree with me on this, so there you have it.

5/10.

Ink Review: Sea of Europa by Colorverse

Sea of Europa, by Colorverse.

I do not know what or where the Sea of Europa is, and I am not motivated enough to google it, but my guess is that it's some sort of outer space reference, since Colorverse is really into that.

I got real tilty with this picture. #tilt.

The ink flows very nicely. I even wrote "very smooth" on this page! ...though I think that was overstating it a bit. I was just happy that day I guess. Everything was very smooth.

So remember how I said, when reviewing Brunch Date, that you should just get this ink instead of Brunch Date? See what I meant? It's almost the same, but it's deeper, richer, and shades better. I love this color and the cloudy shading. This is definitely one I would buy.

Ink Review: Morning Star by Colorverse

Morning Star by Colorverse.

It's got a red penumbra that is neat.

It flows fine.

There is nothing wrong with this ink, I just don't think it thrills me enough for me to want to buy it. I go back and forth, but there are so many inks where my reaction is MUST BUY YES THANK YOU that I doubt I'll ever get to this one.

5/10.

Ink Review: Masquerade by Diamine

Masquerade by Diamine. This is from their Purple inkvent (4th year, 2023.)

This is a nice juicy ink and it flows well.

This ink is gorgeous.

It's subtle, it shades, it glitters, it's just right for its name.

9/10.
